Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is what we typically refer to as 'Angkor', not knowing that there is far more to visit than this Hindu Temple, dedicated to Vishnu. The name Angkor derives from a Sanskrit word and means 'holy city'.

Only the king and the high priest were allowed on this upper level of three levels within Angkor Wat.
