Roluos

The Roluos group consists of three temples near the modern village of Roluos, about 30 km from the main Angkor sites.

Lolei is a Hindu Temple, dedicated to Shiva. It offers exquisite carvings and inscriptions.

Preah Ko, the 'sacred bull', is a quiet Hindu temple.

Bakong is the largest of the three temples. It is a Hindu temple, dedicated to Shiva, and was at the center of the ancient settlement of Hariharalaya. A name derived from the god Hari-Hara, a synthesis of Shiva and Vishnu. This was the center of the Khmer civilization before Angkor was established.
