Angkor Thom

Angkor Thom offers many temples and structures. The Terrace of the Elephants or the Terrace of the Leper King are just two of them. The reliefs picture mythical beings like serpents, garudas or seated women with naked torsos and triangular coiffures with small flaming discs. As part of the Royal Palace you can visit the Phimeanakas, an 'aerial palace'. This was were the king worshipped.
