San Francisco de Solano

Founded in 1823

This was the 21st Mission in California. It's life was the briefest of all, lasting only 9 years. It is also the northernmost of the Missions, being located in beautiful Sonoma, north of San Francisco. Today, 5 rooms of the original Mission remain.
